The Nepal Blue Cross Humanitarian Foundation (NBCHF) is an independent, non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people through humanitarian action, healthcare, disaster preparedness, community resilience, volunteer development, and sustainable development initiatives across Nepal.

Established to serve communities with professionalism, compassion, and integrity, NBCHF works to strengthen humanitarian capacity by promoting community-based programmes, healthcare services, emergency preparedness, environmental sustainability, humanitarian education, and strategic partnerships.

The Foundation brings together humanitarian professionals, healthcare workers, volunteers, educators, development practitioners, and community leaders to deliver practical solutions that address both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term development challenges.

NBCHF works in humanitarian cooperation with the Nepal Blue Cross Society (NBCS) and the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC) to promote humanitarian cooperation, technical collaboration, volunteer development, healthcare initiatives, disaster risk reduction, and community resilience. Such cooperation supports joint humanitarian objectives while each organization maintains its own independent legal identity, governance, financial management, and operational responsibilities.
