The Nepal Blue Cross Humanitarian Foundation (NBCHF) is committed to promoting the well-being, protection, health, education, and empowerment of women, children, and young people through inclusive humanitarian programmes that strengthen families and build resilient communities across Nepal.
Our Women, Children & Youth Support Programme focuses on creating safe, healthy, and empowering environments where every woman, child, and young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity, equality, and hope.
NBCHF believes that investing in women, children, and youth is essential for sustainable development, social inclusion, and long-term community resilience. Through strategic partnerships and community-based initiatives, we work to improve access to healthcare, education, protection services, leadership opportunities, and livelihood support.

Supporting women's leadership, health, education, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, skills development, and equal participation in community decision-making.
Child Protection & Development
Promoting child protection, early childhood development, nutrition, education, healthcare, psychosocial well-being, and safe learning environments.
Youth Leadership & Volunteer Development
Encouraging young people to become humanitarian leaders through volunteer programmes, leadership training, community service, and skills development.
Education & Skills Development
Supporting educational opportunities, digital literacy, vocational training, scholarships, career guidance, and life skills for children and youth.
Maternal & Family Health
Promoting maternal health, reproductive health education, family well-being, nutrition, immunization awareness, and community healthcare services.
Protection & Safeguarding
Supporting initiatives that prevent violence, exploitation, abuse, child labour, trafficking, gender-based violence, and discrimination while promoting safeguarding and protection.
Youth Employment & Livelihoods
Promoting entrepreneurship, vocational skills, employment readiness, innovation, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for young people.
Sports, Culture & Community Engagement
Encouraging sports, arts, cultural activities, civic engagement, environmental action, and humanitarian volunteerism to strengthen social inclusion and positive youth development.

NBCHF also works in humanitarian cooperation with the Nepal Blue Cross Society (NBCS) and the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC) to strengthen programmes for women, children, and youth through volunteer development, healthcare, education, humanitarian assistance, and community resilience while each organization maintains its own independent legal identity, governance, financial management, and operational responsibilities.
