The Nepal Blue Cross Humanitarian Foundation (NBCHF) is an independent, non-profit humanitarian organization established to promote humanitarian action, community healthcare, disaster preparedness, volunteer development, environmental sustainability, and community resilience throughout Nepal.

NBCHF is dedicated to serving vulnerable individuals and communities through inclusive, community-based programmes that strengthen public health, enhance emergency preparedness, support sustainable development, and improve the quality of life for people in need.

The Foundation brings together humanitarian professionals, healthcare workers, volunteers, development practitioners, academic institutions, civil society organizations, and strategic partners to implement innovative and sustainable humanitarian initiatives that respond effectively to both immediate emergencies and long-term community needs.

Working in humanitarian cooperation with the Nepal Blue Cross Society (NBCS) and the International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC), NBCHF supports joint humanitarian initiatives, technical cooperation, capacity building, volunteer development, healthcare programmes, and disaster risk reduction while maintaining its own independent legal identity, governance, financial management, and operational responsibilities.
