The Nepal Blue Cross Humanitarian Foundation (NBCHF) recognizes that sustainable humanitarian development depends on strong institutions, skilled professionals, empowered volunteers, and resilient communities. Through its Capacity Building Programme, NBCHF is committed to enhancing the knowledge, skills, systems, and leadership required to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from humanitarian challenges across Nepal.
Our programme supports individuals, community organizations, healthcare institutions, local governments, educational institutions, and humanitarian partners by providing professional training, technical assistance, leadership development, and institutional strengthening that promote long-term resilience and sustainable development.

Training healthcare workers, community health volunteers, and institutions in public health, emergency medicine, first aid, disease prevention, and humanitarian healthcare delivery.
Disaster Risk Reduction & Emergency Preparedness
Providing technical training on disaster risk reduction (DRR), emergency response, incident management, search and rescue support, evacuation planning, and community resilience.
Volunteer Capacity Development
Strengthening the knowledge, leadership, technical skills, and operational readiness of humanitarian volunteers through structured learning programmes.
Institutional Strengthening
Supporting non-profit organizations, community groups, local authorities, and partner institutions in governance, strategic planning, financial management, project management, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational development.
