The Nepal Blue Cross Humanitarian Foundation (NBCHF) is committed to strengthening disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community resilience through proactive planning, humanitarian coordination, volunteer development, and capacity building across Nepal.
Recognizing Nepal's vulnerability to earthquakes, floods, landslides, glacial lake outburst floods (GLOFs), avalanches, fires, epidemics, and other natural and human-induced emergencies, NBCHF works to help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters in a timely, coordinated, and sustainable manner.
Our Disaster Preparedness Programme promotes a proactive approach that reduces disaster risks, protects lives, safeguards livelihoods, and strengthens local capacities before, during, and after emergencies.

Establishing and training community-based Emergency Response Teams capable of providing immediate humanitarian assistance during emergencies.
Search, Rescue & Evacuation Support
Supporting emergency search and rescue coordination, evacuation planning, first response, and life-saving humanitarian assistance.
Emergency Medical Response
Providing first aid, emergency medical assistance, ambulance coordination, mobile medical support, and emergency healthcare services during disasters.
Humanitarian Relief Operations
